Just an ordinary training day at the gym ...NOT >>> This morning was one of those mornings where ...you know..." you don't feel like going to train" in the gym ...but it's on your diary as a training day ...but   I did not listen to this little voice and I went ... I followed the plan ...I pushed myself a little bit more...then a little bit more ...then BOOM !  I reached 3 weight training  personal best  (increased weights compared to last time I did that same training last time).  BOOM ! >>> Progress So the moral of this short anecdote  is :  stick to the plan (eating and/or training plan)...  because consistency is KEY believe in the system and  don't listen to this little voice that is trying to sabotage your efforts Happy Training ya' all ! Exercise keeps us young and healthy! Ageing can be scary for many reasons. But one easy way to stay feeling young and healthy is through a combination of different sort of exercises. It is so vital to keep mobile and exercising, as we get older. Just like everything else …if we don’t use it we loose it! I remember my mother who used to do calculations by hand and when asked why bother doing calculations by hand instead of using the calculator, she would rightly answer: “I am keeping my brain working!” This is such a valid statement when it comes to our brain, our body muscles and our heart and lungs! Have you noticed how more and more young people don’t even know the phone number of their partner because they are so used to dialing that speed dial or pre-entered contact telephone number! Yummy Energy balls (gluten free, vegan)

YUMMY ENERGY BALLS_CACAO & ALMOND  (makes a dozen balls) COOKING TIME: 10 mins INGREDIENTS 2 cups dates  2 cups almonds  1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes (reserve 1/2 cup for rolling) 1/4 tsp sea salt 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1-2 T unsweetened almond milk INSTRUCTIONS Put 1/2 cup of coconut flakes into the food processor and process to break up flakes slightly (about 1 minute). Do not over-process or it will become coconut butter. Remove flakes and set aside Place dates in the food processor and process until they have broken up and come together into a ball. Break up date ball with hands and add in almonds, cocoa powder, 1/4 cup of coconut flakes and sea salt. Process for several minutes, scrapping down the sides as needed. Add in vanilla extract and 1 T of almond milk. Process until mixture comes back together into a ball. If it doesn't do this, add...
